It’s been almost a year since Sony first lifted the lid off The Last Of Us: Part II at last year’s PlayStation Experience, and while 2017 has been fairly quiet on the game’s front since that initial reveal, this week’s trailer out of Paris Games Week more than makes up for that.
Game director Neil Druckmann has confirmed on Twitter that Westworld writer Halley Gross will be his co-writer for the game.
The Last Of Us 2 will take place a number of years after the original, with Ellie now 19 years old. The game is still quite a bit off according to creative director, Neil Druckmann, but we do have some interesting tidbits by way of the discussion panel at this year’s PlayStation Experience.
The rumours have been swirling for years, dating as far back to before The Last Of Us was even released way back in 2013. But it’s now finally official: we’re getting a sequel.
