Responsible Gambling

Casino games should be entertainment. Fenix Bazaar covers real-money gambling for adults aged 18 and over, or the legal gambling age where you live if that is higher. This page explains how to keep gambling under control, the warning signs that it is becoming a problem, and where to get free, confidential help.

Play with limits

  • Set a budget before you start, and only use money you can afford to lose. Treat it as the cost of the entertainment, not an investment.
  • Set a time limit, and take regular breaks.
  • Use the tools the casino gives you. Licensed casinos offer deposit limits, loss limits, session reminders and cool-off periods. Set them when you open your account, not when things have gone wrong.
  • Never chase losses. Trying to win back what you have lost is how small losses become big ones.
  • Don’t gamble when you are stressed, low, or have been drinking.
  • Try games in demo mode first. Our free demos let you learn how a game works without spending anything.

Warning signs

Gambling may be becoming a problem if you:

  • spend more money or time gambling than you meant to
  • borrow money, sell things or miss bills to gamble
  • chase losses or need to bet more to feel the same excitement
  • hide your gambling from people close to you
  • feel anxious, irritable or low when you are not gambling
  • gamble to escape problems or difficult feelings

If any of these sound familiar, talk to someone. The services below are free and confidential.

Self-exclusion

Self-exclusion lets you block yourself from gambling for a set period. National schemes such as BetStop, GAMSTOP, Spelpaus, OASIS and Cruks cover every licensed operator in that country in one step. If you have self-excluded, please respect that decision, and contact one of the services above if the urge to gamble returns.

Blocking software

Gambling-blocking apps and browser tools can stop gambling sites loading on your phone and computer. Ask the helpline in your country which tools they recommend.

Protecting children

Gambling sites are for adults only. If children use your devices, use parental controls and keep your casino accounts and payment details private.

How Fenix Bazaar covers gambling

We include responsible gambling information on every page that promotes a casino, show the key terms of every bonus we list, and score casinos partly on the responsible gambling tools they offer. More about how we work is in our Editorial Policy and How We Rate pages.
