Who writes for Fenix Bazaar
Articles are researched, written and edited by the Fenix Bazaar editorial team and published under the Fenix Bazaar Staff byline. Reviews, guides and rankings of casino games and casino sites are checked against our How We Rate criteria before they are published. You can read about the team and its coverage on our Contributors page.
How we report news
- We report what has been confirmed, and say clearly when something is a rumour, leak or report from another outlet.
- We link to the original source, such as a publisher announcement, regulator notice, court filing or the outlet that broke the story.
- We do not publish press releases as news. A release is a starting point that we verify and add context to.
- Headlines describe what the story actually says.
How we review games
Video game reviews are written after playing the game, on the platform named in the review. Slot and table game reviews are built from the developer’s published figures and our assessment of each game’s mechanics, features and design, and include a game details table covering return to player (RTP), volatility, maximum win and bet range. How we review and rank casino sites
Casino reviews and rankings follow the criteria and weights published on How We Rate. Licensing, payout speed, bonus terms, game library, support and responsible gambling tools are checked by our team, and bonus terms are re-checked whenever a page is updated.
Independence from commercial partners
Some links on Fenix Bazaar are affiliate links, explained on our Affiliate Disclosure page. Commercial relationships never decide a score, a verdict or a ranking position. Partners cannot review, edit or approve our content before it is published, and a site that pays us commission is rated on the same criteria as one that does not.
Sponsored content, when we publish it, is labelled as sponsored at the top of the article.
Gambling content and age
Content about real-money gambling is intended for adults aged 18 and over, or the legal gambling age where you live if that is higher. We include responsible gambling information on every page that promotes a gambling site, and our Responsible Gambling page lists support services by country.
Updates and corrections
Rankings, bonus offers and casino reviews are reviewed regularly, and the “Last updated” date only changes when the content does. If we get something wrong, we correct it promptly and, where the error changed the meaning of an article, note the correction at the end of the article.
