GTA 6 Pre-Order Bonus: What You Get, Standard vs Ultimate, and Whether to Pre-Order

Every GTA 6 pre-order gets the Vintage Vice City Pack, and digital ones add a month of GTA+ and pre-load. What the $99.99 Ultimate Edition adds, and whether to pre-order at all.

Pre-ordering GTA 6 gets you two things: the Vintage Vice City Pack, which comes with either edition, and, on digital orders, the ability to pre-load the game a week early. Digital pre-orders also include a free month of GTA+. It doesn’t get you the game early or a discount. Here’s what each option actually gives you, so you can decide whether to commit now.

The pre-order bonus is identical on both editions, so you don’t need the more expensive one to get it. The Vintage Vice City Pack is in-game content themed around 1980s Vice City.

The Ultimate Edition adds vehicles, weapons, outfits and shops that unlock as you play through Jason and Lucia’s story, rather than all at once. They include the ’95 Grotti Cheetah, the ’67 Vapid Dominator Buggy, the Hawk & Little Morgan revolvers, the Vice City Style outfits, and five shops only Ultimate owners can use: Rideout Customs, One-Eyed Willie’s, Sara’s Unisex Salon, Stock 305 and Electric Fang Tattoo.

That’s cosmetic and convenience content. None of it is needed to finish the story, and the Ultimate upgrade is sold separately, so you can buy the Standard Edition now and upgrade later if you decide the extras are worth it. UK, EU and Australian prices are in our GTA 6 release date and price guide.

Boxed copies don’t include a disc

If you’re thinking of a boxed copy to avoid a big download, note that the GTA 6 box holds a download code, not a disc. You’ll download the full game either way, so a digital pre-order is the better choice if you want to pre-load on 12 November.

Should you pre-order?

Pre-order digitally if you’re certain you’ll play at launch. Pre-loading means you can start the moment it unlocks (here’s when that is in your time zone) instead of waiting for a download on the busiest night of the year. You still get the bonus pack and the GTA+ month.

Wait if you want to read reviews first or you only have a PC. Buying on launch day still gets you the Vintage Vice City Pack; only purchases from 20 November onward miss it. There’s no PC version yet; here’s what Take-Two has said about one.

Prices and bonuses as listed by Rockstar and the PlayStation and Xbox stores on 3 November 2026.
