GTA 6 releases on Thursday, November 19, 2026, on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Pre-loading opens a week earlier, on November 12, and pre-orders have been live since June 25. There is still no PC version announced.
Rockstar has held the November 19 date since setting it in November 2025, and Take-Two has repeated it in every update since. Here is everything confirmed so far: dates, platforms, editions, pre-order bonuses and what is still unknown.

Key dates before launch
- November 9: Take-Two reports its quarterly results, the last scheduled update before launch. Fans expect a final trailer around then, but Rockstar has not confirmed one.
- November 12: Pre-loading begins for digital pre-orders, giving you a week to download the game before it unlocks.
- November 19: GTA 6 launches worldwide. Rockstar has not yet confirmed the unlock time.
- November 20: The last day the Vintage Vice City Pack bonus applies. Any copy bought before then includes it.
Is GTA 6 coming to PC?
Not at launch, and there is no PC date. Rockstar has only announced the game for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, and it has published no PC specifications, so any “GTA 6 PC requirements” list you see online is guesswork. Rockstar has staggered its PC releases before: GTA 5 reached PC in 2015, about a year and a half after its console launch, and Red Dead Redemption 2 followed its console release by a year.
GTA 6 editions and prices
There are two editions. Neither comes on a disc.

The Standard Edition is the full game. The Ultimate Edition adds a set of vehicles, weapons, clothing and locations that unlock as you progress through Jason and Lucia’s story. Bought the Standard Edition and changed your mind? You can buy the Ultimate Edition upgrade later for $20.
What the Ultimate Edition adds
- Vehicles: the ’67 Vapid Dominator Buggy with the Paradise Garage, the ’95 Grotti Cheetah, a Vapid Ganado retro build at Jason’s safehouse, a Classic Car Collection and the Shitzu Squalo boat
- Two extra mod shops: Rideout Customs in Vice City and One-Eyed Willie’s in Lake Leonida
- The Hawk & Little Morgan revolvers, a matching his-and-hers pair, plus personalized weapon variants
- The PTT Youngin$ compound with its own side scores
- Vice City styles for Jason and Lucia, Goodtime Gear, the Stock 305 clothing store, Sara’s Unisex Salon and Electric Fang tattoos
GTA 6 pre-order bonus: the Vintage Vice City Pack
Every copy bought before November 20, in either edition, comes with the Vintage Vice City Pack:
- A ’55 Vapid Stanier sedan, with a garage near Ocean Beach
- Exclusive outfits and hairstyles
- A palm tree weapon pattern
Digital pre-orders also get one free month of GTA+, Rockstar’s GTA Online membership, and it can be redeemed straight away. That applies to both editions, not just the Ultimate.
Will GTA 6 be delayed again?
Nothing points to it. GTA 6 has moved twice already:
- May 2024: Take-Two gives the first window, Fall 2025.
- May 2025: Rockstar delays it to May 26, 2026, the first exact date.
- November 2025: A second delay moves it to November 19, 2026.
Since then, pre-orders have opened, stores list the November 19 date, the pre-load date is set and Take-Two has built its financial year around the launch. A third delay this close to release would be very unusual.
Trailers and what Rockstar has shown
Rockstar has released two trailers: the first in December 2023 introduced Jason and Lucia, and the second in May 2025 showed the scale of Vice City and Leonida. On August 27, 2026, it premiered Grand Theft Auto VI: An Extended Look on Netflix, its first tie-up with the streaming service, before posting it to YouTube and the official site six hours later.
A third trailer has not been announced. Rumours have pointed at several dates since the summer, and Rockstar has a history of releasing a launch trailer close to release day. Treat any “Trailer 3 date” as speculation until Rockstar posts it. Headlines in early October claiming Rockstar had “quietly revealed” new gameplay traced back to an age-rating filing, not an announcement.
Does GTA 6 have an online mode?
Rockstar has marketed GTA 6 as a single-player game and has not announced an online mode for it. Everything in the Ultimate Edition is tied to the story. The GTA+ month that comes with digital pre-orders applies to the existing GTA Online.

Is there a physical copy of GTA 6?

Do I need to pre-order to get the bonus?
