In less than a month, gamers will have their hands on the next generation of Xbox. That is, of course, if they’ve managed to get their hands on a Xbox Series X pre-order: they’ve not been easy to lock away.

The release of both the Series X and Series S will herald in a new generation for the Xbox brand, some seven years since the release of the Xbox One. In that time, the brand has gone through an astounding transformation, led by the much-loved Phil Spencer. The history of the Xbox One isn’t an overly positive one, but its current state has led into a Series X console that is set up for success.

Both consoles look to over-supply on the power front, although at different levels and varying degrees of power and output. The Xbox Series X vs Series S comparison are in no short supply, but if you truly want the full “next-gen” experience then the Series X probably looks the way to go.
