Monopoly Live is the board game turned into a live studio show. Evolution launched it in April 2019 in partnership with Hasbro, and it put players inside a 3D version of the board using augmented reality, according to Advanced Television. Its success underpins Evolution’s exclusive Hasbro deal, which brings new MONOPOLY titles in 2026.
How Monopoly Live plays
A live host spins a super-sized money wheel and you predict where it stops. The wheel has 54 segments: 48 marked with numbers (1, 2, 5 and 10), two marked CHANCE, three marked 2 ROLLS and one marked 4 ROLLS. A winning number pays the odds of its value, so a 5 pays 5:1 and a 10 pays 10:1, and your bet is returned with your winnings.
Chance cards
When the wheel stops on CHANCE, Mr. Monopoly presents a Chance card showing either a random cash prize or a random multiplier. If it’s a multiplier, all bets stay in place and the host spins again, and the multiplier boosts the next result. A second multiplier multiplies the first, and if the next spin lands on a bonus game, every multiplier on the board in that bonus is increased.
The bonus game
2 ROLLS and 4 ROLLS start the bonus. Mr. Monopoly steps around the 3D board after each dice roll, moving as many squares as the two dice total, and collects cash prizes at each stop. A 2 ROLLS bonus lasts at least two rolls and a 4 ROLLS bonus at least four, with an extra roll for every double. The dice are rolled in the live studio. You must have bet on the specific bonus segment to win its prizes.
