Eight games leave Xbox Game Pass tomorrow, Thursday, October 15, and the biggest name on the list is Clair Obscur: Expedition 33. If you are partway through any of them, today is the day to finish up or buy a copy.
Clair Obscur joined Game Pass on day one in April 2025 and went on to win Game of the Year at The Game Awards 2025, so its exit is the one most subscribers will notice. A Plague Tale: Requiem, Pacific Drive and Evil West are going too.
Every game leaving Game Pass on October 15
| Game | Platforms |
|---|---|
| A Plague Tale: Requiem | Console, PC, Cloud |
| Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 | Console, PC, Cloud |
| Crime Scene Cleaner | Console, PC, Cloud |
| Donut County | Console, PC, Cloud |
| Evil West | Console, PC, Cloud |
| Pacific Drive | Console, PC, Cloud |
| The Casting of Frank Stone | Console, PC, Cloud |
| Nova Roma (Game Preview) | PC |
The Superball perk for members also ends on October 15, but that is a Game Pass perk rather than a game in the library.
Keep them at a discount
Every game on the list currently carries a Game Pass member discount of at least 20% in the Xbox Store. Buying a game you already have installed through Game Pass just unlocks your copy permanently, so there is nothing to download again.
Saves and achievements are tied to your account, not to the subscription. If you buy one of these games later, even after it has left Game Pass, you pick up where you left off.
Which ones to prioritise
- Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 is the one to buy if you have started it. It is a long RPG, and finishing it in a day is not realistic.
- A Plague Tale: Requiem runs to roughly 15 to 20 hours, so buying makes more sense than rushing.
- Donut County is short enough to finish in an evening if you want to squeeze it in.
What is arriving instead
The big October addition is Battlefield 6, which joined Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass on October 13. Bluey’s Happy Snaps and Chained Beasts arrive on October 15, the same day these eight games leave, and Beyond These Stars follows on October 16.
