Getting your hands on an Xbox Series X some nine months since the console’s launch is still proving to be quite difficult for gamers desperate to get their hands on the hardware. Yet new editions of the console are still being designed and released, the most recent being the admittedly stunning Xbox Series X Halo Infinite Limited Edition Bundle, revealed at gamescom 2021.
The Xbox Series X has been plagued by hardware shortages the world over, with news reports still circulating (almost a year after a release) whenever new stock becomes available. It’s safe to say that gamers are still lining up in droves for hardware, and an announcement about a new edition — even if it is Halo Infinite related — probably won’t do much to temper frustrations.

Nonetheless, the Xbox Series X Halo Infinite Limited Edition Bundle, which is set to launch on November 15 only a few weeks before Halo Infinite‘s release date, is still cause for some celebration, especially given it’s the first true special edition console released for the Series X.
It’s currently available for pre-order from a range of different online retailers, priced at $549.99 USD.

Above the armor there is a custom star pattern as seen from the surface of Zeta Halo that extends to the top of the console and onto the fan. Below the stars, the top vent is accented in Cortana-themed blue. To top it off, the console powers on and off with custom Halo-themed sounds.
The controller included in the bundle features a matching design on the front, an iridium gold 20-year mark on the back, as well as side-and-back grips to accommodate all play styles.”
