Also set to join the fold are a bunch of awesome indie games by way of the [email protected] program, and Xbox Game Pass subscribers will get front-row seats to the indie game incursion set to invade the program.
[email protected] has for many years now provided Xbox gamers with unparalleled access to indie games on consoles, and Xbox Game Pass makes it even easier for these games to find mainstream exposure.
By way of an Xbox showcase held overnight, which also unveiled plans for Stardew Valley to come to Xbox Game Pass, we also now have details about a host of other games locked in to come to the value-packed program in the coming months.
Now all of these indie games had a launch date for their appearance on Xbox Game Pass, but much like Stardew Valley we should probably expect them to land on the program in the US Fall, leading into the Holiday period.
Here are the indie games we can look forward to coming to Xbox Game Pass in the near future:
- Aragami 2
- Library of Ruina
- Evil Genius 2 World Domination
- Stardew Valley
These games may not look like record-setting titles, but if you’re an Xbox Game Pass subscriber I definitely think this is something you should get excited about. There’s a host of fantastic games available on the program that don’t necessarily fit into the “AAA” bracket, and rarely is a game added that doesn’t quite tick the “vibe” check box.
The Ascent is a prime example of a game that went under the radar but is now rightfully blowing up. It’s not perfect by any means, but it’s super solid and great on console.
Is there really a gaming service that offers more value for the price than Xbox Game Pass? I highly doubt it.
