Titanfall 2 comes at a pretty hectic time of year. Released only a week after Battlefield 1, it makes for a stacked period of blockbuster shooters dominating the gaming landscape. Thankfully, both games are pretty great, and if you choose Titanfall 2 as your preferred shooter this Holiday season, you’ve certainly made a wise choice.

Aside from being stacked with a fantastic multiplayer and campaign, it also offers a balanced evolution over the original game, bringing the refined and unique Titanfall experience to more gamers on PlayStation 4. That’s good news for gamers!

If you’re about to jump into your Titanfall 2 experience and try out the campaign — which you definitely should: thank God they added a campaign! — then not only are you in for one hell of a ride, but you’re also primed for training ahead of your trek online and into the competitive arena. The campaign stands as a great way to test your wares and improve your skills before you come up against real player.

This Titanfall 2 guide will focus on the campaign’s primary collectibles: the Pilot Helmet. There are numerous helmets to be found in each chapter, and we’ll explain in as much detail as possible to find each.

When you’re done here, be sure to head over to our Titanfall 2 discussion forum to team up with other players!

The Pilot’s Gauntlet Helmet Locations

Prologue

Pilot Helmet 1

You’ll find this helmet resting on a rock ledge right near the end of the gauntlet. So long as you’re not interested in landing a good time, you should be able to wall-run and boost up to the ledge. When facing the finishing line, the ledge is to the left.

BT-7274 Pilot Helmet Locations

The Wilds

Pilot Helmet 1

Once you start your journey to find a new battery pack for your titan, you’ll notice a new waypoint on your HUD. This helmet is actually really hard to miss: if you follow the waypoint, you’ll eventually come across a drop pod. Approach it and you’ll find the helmet sitting on some rocks next to it.

Pilot Helmet 2

As soon as you grab the third battery pack for BT, you’ll need to exit the ship. Head outside, and you’ll see the second and final Pilot Helmet for this chapter hanging from a cliff. To get there, you’ll need to run along the wall to the right, and then double jump up to reach the helmet.

Blood And Rust Pilot Helmet Locations

Drainage Channel

There are no pilot helmets in this act.

Reclamation Facility

Pilot Helmet 1

As soon as BT picks up his first weapon, the Tone Loadout, you’ll find the helmet sitting behind a gate in a caged area to the left. To get it, you’ll need to walk under some pipes and then past them, into the gated area, but you can’t get there with BT. Use BT to get to the right side of above pipe-tunnel, then disembark, hoping onto the pipe, into the gated area to get the helmet.

Pilot Helmet 2

When you reach a large chamber with huge cylinders, you’ll encounter some hostiles. Once they’re dealt with, BT will tell you that the flow regulation hate is blocking your exit. You’ll exit BT at this point, and will be flooded by grunts and drones. Take them out. Once they’re dealt with, head to the top platform, and run along the wall. Look for some double pipes and a red light. Climb up the pipes, and look around for the pilot helmet, which is sitting atop one of the huge cylinders.

Pilot Helmet 3

You’ll soon reach a chamber that is being guarded by some Militia forces. You’ll climb through some pipes to get to this point. Once you reach the chamber (look for a red platform in the middle of the chamber), look to the left of where you entered the chamber to see the helmet resting on a platform. Double-jump over there to reach it.

Pilot Helmet 4

This helmet is notoriously tricky. There’s a moment where you’ll help out some allies by taking out three Stalkers. Jump over the small river, and approach the Stalkers’ charging node pods, then immediately turn to the left. You’ll reach a chamber filled with a chemical pool, pipes and steam vents. Wall-run the left wall, jump up to the pipes, and grab the helmet on the top pipes.

Pilot Helmet 5

You’ll reach a room where there are some robots flying around making repairs. You’ll need to head to “Inlet 13” to find the next helmet. Look for the yellow pipes. The helmet is actually sitting on a bridge. Head to the left, climb the pipes, jump onto the yellow pipes, sprint along these, and find your way over to the bridge to grab the helmet.

Pilot Helmet 6

As soon as you grab the fifth helmet, you’ll enter into another room that houses the final helmet of this chapter. The helmet is location on the spillway, on a platform just above where the waterfall is entering the room.

Into The Abyss Pilot Helmet Locations

Cavern

Pilot Helmet 1

You’ll see the first helmet while you’re progressing through the lagoon. Keep a look-out for a dark cavern (it’s easy to miss) that sits to the right of the area.

Dynamic Testing Facility

Pilot Helmet 1

In the same lagoon area as above, head to the left side of the area and look for a huge crack in the side of the rocks. This will lead to a hidden lagoon pool area. You’ll need to get out of BT to move through. Do so, and then jump onto the platform. Look for an escape pod. Look for the helmet to the right of this pod on a ledge.

Pilot Helmet 2

You’ll find this one on a horizontal pipe. Head into the room with the trees and cars on the tracks. Take out any enemies in this room, and then stand parallel with a wall that sit below some horizontal pipes. Get out of BT, and follow the pipes along the cliff to find the helmet.

Pilot Helmet 3

You’ll find this below the landing pad. Get out of BT, and head to the left of the pad. You’ll see some ledges. Move down these, along the wall towards the waterfall. Platform over to the helmet from here.

Pilot Helmet 4

You’ll get this after you get split from BT. The helmet is on a ledge in the distance. Double-jump across the wall towards a large pillar in the middle of this area, and then jump onto and over it towards the platform with the helmet.

Pilot Helmet 5

You’ll eventually end up on a platform where a pallet is nearing completion, with a frame and grass clearly visible. There are some robotic arms, and an assembly line. You can’t miss it. Look above the arms to see the helmet resting on three horizontal pipes. Look for the Werneck crate, and jump onto it. Then double-jump up and work your way up to the pipes.

Pilot Helmet 6

Head outside (the mission will naturally progress outside), and before moving beyond the robotic arm, look to the right to see the helmet resting on a concrete ledge, to the a huge verticle pipes. It’s beyond a waterfall. Head to the robotic arm, and jump to the catwalk down below. The wallrun along the cavern towards the ledge.

Pilot Helmet 7

You’ll exit a rock tunnel, and find yourself in a room with three different columns (look for the blocks with blue neon lights surrounding them). You’ll see the helmet sitting on column 83. Hit the green button, and use the corresponding pods to reach the helmet.

Pilot Helmet 8

Don’t head into the dome to meet back up with BT just yet. Turn to the right of the chasm, and run along a wall. Walk along the edge instead of jumping into the arena. You’ll see the helmet outside on a ledge. Walk along the rocks to reach it.

Effect And Cause Pilot Helmet Locations

IMC Advanced Research Facility

Pilot Helmet 1

You’ll find the helmet floating along a wall in the street to the right, just before you reunite with BT.

Pilot Helmet 2

Don’t head into the reception lobby, and instead look for a light pole that’s near the Reactor Facility. The helmet is right around this area.

Pilot Helmet 3

Once you reach a large, extravagant facility, you’ll find this helmet in the elevator shaft.

Pilot Helmet 4

Once you come across a hot, fiery floor, you’ll find the helmet floating at the end of the walkway, floating in the air.

Pilot Helmet 5

Just before you reach the cryo storage facility, you’ll come up against three turrets in the past. Once you return to the present, jumping to the hanging platform, and then go back to the past. From there you can get the helmet on the platform.

Pilot Helmet 6

Look for a giant, open cryo storage room. Once you reach it, you’ll see the helmet on a platform nearby. You’ll need to go to the past to jump on the first platform, then return to the present to land on the platform hosting the helmet.

Pilot Helmet 7

As you reach the exit of the cryo storage room, you’ll see the helmet between two walls, up high. You’ll need to move between the past and present to reach it. You may also die once you grab it, but that’s okay: it will still count as having been collected.

Pilot Helmet 8

You’ll reach an area where you need to flip between past and present in order to get past the wall. Ensure you’re in the present before running along the window. You’ll find the helmet nearby.

The Beacon Pilot Helmet Locations

Interstellar Beacon Facility

Pilot Helmet 1

Once you save the stranded soldiers, hang back instead of following them straight away. Head over to a satellite facility using BT, and then move up to the platform, just below the big dish. The helmet is next to a pillar on the right side.

Pilot Helmet 2

While on this same platform, look around for a building to the back-left. There is a cable hanging off it. This is where you’ll find the other helmet in this area.

Pilot Helmet 3

Once in the substation, take out the bot baddies in substation 03’s server room. There’s a spinning beam: walk across it to find the helmet.

Pilot Helmet 4

You’ll eventually get an arc tool and find yourself standing on a fan. Turn the fan on by using the arc tool, and then jump onto the opposite ledge to grab the helmet.

Pilot Helmet 5

There will be a moment when BT throws you onto a work station. Use the arc tool to open the door to find the helmet.

Pilot Helmet 6

Using the crane move the first wall out of the way and jump over to the second work station (02). The helmet is on the roof of a station across from this work station.

Pilot Helmet 7

Look for a big dish and two cranes. The helmet is on a big platform just ahead of them.

Pilot Helmet 8

You’ll battle some enemies when you jump over to the platform holding the dish. Take them out, and then jump onto the ledge above the door to grab the helmet.

Pilot Helmet 9

Look for the 04 building. It will have the dish’s controls. The helmet is just above this building.

Pilot Helmet 10

BT will throw you again. When you land, turn to the left to find the helmet near the staircase.

Pilot Helmet 11

You’ll need to grab this helmet from inside the base of the dish. Head up the beams holding up the dish, and search for the helmet: it’s pretty easy to spot. Just look for the glow.

Trial By Fire Pilot Helmet Locations

IMC Airbase

Pilot Helmet 1

After you enter the base with Commander Sarah Briggs, get out of BT on the very first ledge, to the left. There are two machines: walk past them to grab the helmet.

Pilot Helmet 2

Follow the yellow cable on the ground, just before you get onto the lift. It will take you to a hole, just between some shipping containers. Head through it, into another room to find the helmet.

Pilot Helmer 3

Once you get past the lift, head up the road, and once it veers to the left, get out of BT. Jump to the right instead, onto the tanks. There’s a helmet on one of the tanks.

The Ark Pilot Helmet Locations

Pursuit

There are no helmets in this chapter.

IMS Malta

Pilot Helmer 1

Once you reach the transporter, take out the enemies and go for the last deck. The helmet is hidden away in a tiny inlet on the ship.

Pilot Helmer 2

You’ll need to jump onto Briggs’ ship before she closes the door. She’ll pull up to the side of the IMC Transport to help your team. The helmet is located behind her, on the ship. You can then jump back off, at which point she’ll close the door and take off.

Pilot Helmer 3

Take out any remaining enemies on the main deck, and look for some small stairs, which will take you to the jet. Don’t mistake these stairs for the big set to the left: it’s a small set of stairs that takes you to the main level of the jet. The helmet is near the last aircraft in this area.

Draconis

There are no helmets in this chapter.

The Fold Weapon Pilot Helmet Locations

IMC Fold Weapon Facility

Pilot Helmer 1

Once outside near the power grid region, look for the turrets in the windows. Climb to the roof of building A30. Once there, head to the top of TMD Power Grid 10. The helmet is around there.

Pilot Helmer 2

At some point, BT and Cooper will be on their own. Head inside the facility to a large circular room. The helmet is in the middle of this mood, at the back, on a pipe.

Pilot Helmer 3

The last helmet to find in Titanfall 2 is inside the blue schematics room. In the back corner of the room, get out of BT, and grab the helmet from the highest pipe along the back wall.
