Xbox One S Australian release date and pricing confirmed

We finally have an Xbox One S Australian release date and price. Microsoft lifted the lid off Xbox One S at E3 2016, and while North American gamers have known for a while when they’ll be getting the sleek new redesigned console, Aussie gamers have had to wait a little longer.

We can confirmed that the Xbox One S will be available in Australia from 2 August.

There will be two versions:

  • Xbox One S 2TB version for $549
  • Gears of War 4-themed Xbox One S 2TB version for $599, due October 2 (you can pre-order from today)

The Xbox One S is the first gaming console that will allow you to watch Blu-Ray movies and stream video in 4K Ultra HD.

It’ll come bundled with a new Xbox Wireless Controller, which features a textured grip, improved Xbox Wireless signal, and added Bluetooth support. It can be purchased separately for $89.95.
