Harvest Moon: Echoes of Teradea DLC Roadmap: All Nine Packs, Dates, Prices and Whether the Season Pass Is Worth It

Natsume has planned nine DLC packs for Harvest Moon: Echoes of Teradea through 2027, including two new marriage candidates and a 30th anniversary pack. Every date and price, plus the Season Pass maths.

Harvest Moon: Echoes of Teradea had barely been out a fortnight when Natsume laid out its next year. The farming sim launched on 15 October, after a three-week delay from its original 24 September date, and on 29 October Natsume revealed a roadmap of nine paid DLC packs running through 2027. The first, Merus’s Dilemma, is already out, alongside a $24.99 Season Pass and a bundle with the full game.

The packs that matter most arrive before Christmas: two story expansions that each add a new marriage candidate. The most intriguing one is the last, a dedicated pack for the Harvest Moon name’s 30th anniversary.

The December story packs are the ones to watch

Most farming sim DLC is furniture and outfits. The two December packs are actual content, and both add someone new to marry, which in this genre is about as big as post-launch updates get.

Gorgan’s Family Dispute brings in Zog, Gorgan’s younger brother, who turns up at Quarrytop Mine convinced his brother has gone soft on humans. Alongside the new bachelor, it adds harder mine floors for players who’ve already cleared the base game’s depths, plus a discount pass for the mine.

Nera’s Rescue Operation adds Emmy, a would-be actress who washes up on a remote island. That opens Treasure Island as a new area to explore and comes with a Fishing Zone discount pass. Of everything on the roadmap, a new explorable area is the clearest sign of a substantial expansion rather than a cosmetic one.

March’s Lupo Wants to Explore is the other notable pack. It turns Lupo, the wolf pup that was also Natsume’s physical pre-order plush, into a mount, and it adds legendary animals across Teradea’s regions.

The 30th anniversary pack

The pack with the least information is the most interesting. Natsume is marking 30 years of the Harvest Moon name, which dates back to the original Super Nintendo game in the mid-’90s. There’s an awkward piece of history here. Since the mid-2010s, the series Harvest Moon fans grew up with has continued as Story of Seasons under Marvelous, while Natsume kept the Harvest Moon brand and went on making its own games, including 2023’s The Winds of Anthos.

How Natsume celebrates an anniversary of a name now attached to two lineages is a fair question. Nothing is confirmed beyond the pack’s title and a 2027 window, so any talk of returning characters or classic farm layouts is speculation for now.

Is the Season Pass worth it?

On the numbers, yes, if you’re planning to stick with the game. The Season Pass costs $24.99 and covers every current and upcoming pack. The six packs with confirmed prices already add up to $37.94 bought separately ($6.99 + $9.99 + $9.99 + $1.99 + $1.99 + $6.99), before you count the three 2027 packs that still don’t have a price.

There are two caveats. First, you’re paying now for three packs nobody has seen. Second, the two cow packs were pre-order bonuses, so if you pre-ordered, a little of the pass’s value is content you may already have; check what’s already in your library before buying. If you only care about the December love interests, buying those two at $19.98 is cheaper than the full pass, but only just.

New players get the simplest option: the Harvest Moon: Echoes of Teradea Bundle combines the full game with the Season Pass.
