Overwatch x Stellar Blade: All 5 EVE Protocol Skins and What’s in the Mid-Season Patch

Overwatch’s Stellar Blade collab is live: Widowmaker as EVE, D.Va as Lily, Vendetta as Tachy, Soldier: 76 as Adam and Freja as Raven. Plus the mid-season patch and Push changes.

Overwatch heroes in battle

Overwatch’s collaboration with Stellar Blade, called EVE Protocol, is live. It arrived with the Season 5 mid-season patch on 3 November (4 November in Asia and Europe, depending on time zone) and dresses five heroes as characters from Shift Up’s action game. Here’s every skin, what else the patch includes, and what Blizzard has said about the rest of the season.

The pairings come from the official key art Blizzard and Shift Up released on 25 October. Like Overwatch’s earlier collaborations, including Cowboy Bebop, Transformers, Street Fighter 6, NieR: Automata and Solo Leveling, the skins are sold in the in-game shop, so check prices and bundle options there before buying. Blizzard hadn’t published prices ahead of launch.

The timing isn’t an accident. Stellar Blade Complete Edition launches on Nintendo Switch 2 on 5 November, and Overwatch is also on Switch 2.

What else is in the mid-season patch

The update was available to pre-download on Battle.net and consoles before 3 November, at about 5.5 GB, and includes balance changes alongside the collaboration. Check the in-game patch notes for the full list; changes to individual heroes can shift which picks are strongest for the rest of the season.

Push and Team Drives changes

Separately, Blizzard posted a community update on 2 November about two issues players had been raising. It apologised for Team Drives matches with too wide a range of player skill and says a fix is coming for the next round. It also confirmed that Push’s robot, TS-1, does move the barricade faster with more players nearby, and will keep doing so in Season 6, minus a small bug that made four players slightly faster than three. A HUD change at Season 6 mid-cycle will show extra arrows when TS-1 is speeding up, as the payload does in Escort.

What’s next

Blizzard says Overwatch has one more season to come in 2026, Season 6, and that the year will end with a new hero trailer that sets up the game’s story for 2027. No Season 6 start date has been announced yet; we’ll cover it when Blizzard confirms one.
