First introduced in 2010’s Call of Duty: Black Ops, the map has seen several reimaginings — from the 60s-era retro-futurism of the original, to a bombed-out military test site, to a clean high-tech version in later editions. But the Black Ops 2 version, Nuketown 2025, remains a fan favourite.
Its return is sure to ignite that fast-paced, chaotic energy of early Black Ops multiplayer and gives both veterans and a new generation of players a taste of pure arena-style gunplay at its finest.
Beta feedback spurs classic matchmaking changes
