One of the 2018’s best games is set to receive much-requested upgrade on Xbox Series X and Series S.
Assassin’s Creed Odyssey will be getting a free boost from 30fps to 60fps across both consoles in the coming hours. That’s right: you can expect the update today.
Ubisoft will be rolling out the patch across both the PS4 and Xbox Series X and Series S versions of the game, meaning it’s not technically an “optimised for Series X|S” game but rather an official patch from Ubisoft that boosts the game’s performance on those consoles.
The patch will be available for Assassin’s Creed Odyssey at 4pm Sydney time, 8am London time, and 11pm (Aug 23) Los Angeles time.
“This update adds 60 FPS support when running the game on Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5 through backwards compatibility,” Ubisoft says.
