Xbox is expected to bring out the big guns like Halo Infinite for its gamescom 2021 showing, just don’t expect any big new announcements.
The upcoming Xbox Gamescom 2021 stream, set to be held in the next 24 hours, isn’t expected to show anything new or especially “big” in terms of new reveals, but we probably should look forward to a host of new details about Halo Infinite, Forza Horizon 5, and perhaps even some new Xbox Game Pass announcements.
So how long will the Xbox Gamescom 2021 stream be? Gamers can expect to be watching the presentation for about 90 minutes according to Xbox Wire.

But what exactly should we expect from the stream? Well, Xbox’s Aaron Greenberg has stepped in to temper expectations, although that should come as no surprise.
“Hope you can join us tomorrow for our [gamescom] 2021 [Xbox] stream,” he said. “Running about 90 min and focused on game updates coming this year.

“So to set expectations,” Greenberg continued, “no new reveals or major surprises, but fun stream with our amazing hosts @vicious696 @kateyeager !”
The Xbox team took a similar approach to their post-E3 briefing, unveiling a bunch of new gameplay footage for a number of already-announced games. It’s great that Greenberg is setting the expectation here, which isn’t necessarily a bad thing given Halo Infinite and Forza Horizon 5 are both big enough releases on Xbox Series X in that we don’t need any bigger announcements to be made.

It would also be great to see some further announcements made from Rare and how Sea of Thieves is progressing, not to mention Bethesda and what that publisher is working on. Given Greenberg’s comments, however, it appears unlikely we’ll see anything related to Starbound.
