NBA 2K21 brings with it yet another round of MyPlayer and MyCareer action, allowing gamers to build, grow and progression their player up the ranks and into NBA stardom, alongside a host of other great and engaging modes. The latest version of the MyPlayer Builder, however, is not without its issues, and a number of players are noticing their created player has mysteriously disappeared from sight.
I personally experienced this, and it appears to have come about after doing a sneaky little trick in the NBA 2K21 demo to build more players than what was actually permitted. To do this you needed to essentially delete any and all saves and data from NBA 2K21 from your device and the cloud, basically wiping your demo data and thus allowing you to start with an empty slate.

Once doing this, however, I noticed that there was no longer a visual representation of any player I created in the demo, nor in the full version of NBA 2K21.
You can even see in some of my NBA 2K21 guides that some of my screenshots don’t have a player showing: this is evident of someone that wiped their data and started from scratch. Hardly a “bad” or illegal thing to do, but clearly a bit of a bug.

Thankfully, there’s a way to fix it.
How to fix NBA 2K21‘s invisible My Player glitch
Firstly, you want to select your desired My Player build, and you want to start up a new My Career in high school. You’ll need to sit through the opening credits before being able to skip through most of the scene on the ferry (unless you want to sit through weird clips of characters talking to empty space).
Once you reach the scene on the street court — you should notice weird camera panning, following a character that isn’t there — you want to exit out of the mode completely. In fact, exit out of the game ENTIRELY. Close it off. Don’t just sleep it: you want to shut down and close the app.

Boot up NBA 2K21 again, allow it to connect to the service, and from there you should be able to boot up My Career and any other modes, with your My Player avatar now clearly visible and available.
The quirky thing was that their looks were now nothing like I had previously selected, but early on it your My Career you can actually go in and edit their appearance, which is what I did.

So there you have it. That’s how you fix the invisible My Player glitch in NBA 2K21. If you’re still experiencing issues, sound off in the comments below and I’ll do my best to help out.

Okay, not sure of it on PC. I have tried this on both Xbox One and PS4 and it worked. My advice would be to raise a case with 2K Support directly!

Anyone who spends $ on these garbage sports games deserve to deal with the glitches.
