One of the greatest games of all-time is finally joining the growing list of games on Xbox One’s backwards compatibility list.
Rockstar’s Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas will be playable on the console come June 7, the publisher announced overnight.
This means that, should you own or get your hands on a copy of the Xbox 360 or Xbox version of San Andreas, you’ll be able to boot it up on your console.
Coming alongside it to the BC table are two other Rockstar gems: Midnight Club: Los Angeles, and Rockstar Games Presents: Table Tennis.
The three games join Red Dead Redemption, which joined the BC list last year.
It’s been a long time coming for the likes of San Andreas and Midnight Club: Los Angeles. The former is arguably one of if not the greatest game of the PS2 era, while the latter stands as one of the most under-appreciated games of last generation.
If you’re looking for a super challenging but highly rewarding racing game, MC: LA is right up your alley, and you shouldn’t hesitate to pick it up on the cheap if you can find it.
As for San Andreas, well, I’m sure you have a copy lying around somewhere. Who doesn’t?
