
The Star Event Centre in Sydney will play host to the Overwatch World Cup Group Stage qualifiers over the weekend of July 21-23, with two places at the Overwatch World Cup up for grabs, with the event to take place this November at BlizzCon.
Australia finds itself in Group C battling it out against Sweden (4th), Italy (20th), Portugal (29th). Group D features Finland (5th), Japan (12th), Spain (21st) and Vietnam (28th).
The group stage will see the top two teams from each group moving onto a single-elimination playoff, with the winners from each group moving onto the eight-team field at BlizzCon in November.
