Yooka-Laylee includes a lot of collectibles to find. From golden pages, to cheeky coloured ghosts; the game harkens back to the simpler days of 3D platformers from the 1990s.
Tribalstack Tropics is Yooka-Laylee’s first world you’ll unlock and features a host of bouncing, joyful items for you to find.
By following this handy guide you’ll have no issue finding every single one of them.

Pagies
Pagie #1
From the starting area move up the slope then turn immediately to your right. Go up the wooden ramp to the campfire where the Skeleton Explorer is being cooked in the pot. Defeat the enemies that appear for the Pagie.
Pagie #2
Head back down the wooden ramp and move once more to your right, this time moving over a small wooden bridge. You’ll see a large stone temple in front of you, but move to your right and speak with Nimble, the adorable little cloud. Race Nimble and win for the Pagie (pro-tip, make sure to collect all the Butterfly Energy you see)

Continue past Nimble until you come across a stone structure guarded by a sentry robot. Ignore it for now and hang a left up the slope. Speak with Trowzer and purchase Buddy Slam, then head back down to the stone structure. Look at the symbols lined up on the wall, you’re going to need to perform Buddy Slam on each of the corresponding floor tiles in order from left to right. Once you trigger the first symbol a countdown timer will start, so make sure you’re quick. Complete the series and the Cagie will open to reveal the Pagie.
At this point you can now expand Tribalstack Tropics
Pagie #4
Return to where Trowzer is and look for the 4 stone slabs in each corner of the ‘room’. Break open each using Buddy Slam, then find the entrance (it’s near where you meet Nimble); make sure you purchase Slurp Shot from Trowzer before you head down. Once inside, speak with The Duke to begin his target challenge. Complete it for the Pagie.
Pagie #5
After exiting the area where The Duke is, move to the right and follow the page around the corner until you spot an open Cagie. Speak with the Pagie Piece to trigger the fetch quest to recover its missing pieces.
The first Pagie Piece is found to your left as you enter the jungle area.
Move further into the jungle area from where you found the first piece while staying to your left you reach a small clearing with some wooden barrels. Break them to reveal the second missing Pagie Piece.
Turn around from where you found the second missing Pagie Piece to see two floating platforms. Jump up to them and you’ll see the third and final missing Pagie Piece located on a rock formation.
Now head back to the Pagie Piece you first spoke with and put it back together to earn the complete Pagie.
Pagie #6
Head back into the jungle area and continue down the path, this time staying to your right. Defeat the enemies and speak with Sir Scoffsalot, who’ll task you with tracking down his three friends. He’ll provide a riddle as a clue to where to find the first one.
But you’re reading this guide! So head back to where you met the Skeleton Explorer, but this time head below the wooden ramp to find the second knight, Lootsalot. Like Scoffsalot, Lootsalot will provide a clue to locate the next knight.
Which will take you to the area where Rextro’s Arcade Machine is. You’ll find the third knight, Shootsalot, on the right side of the Arcade Machine. Like his friends, he’ll provide a clue on the whereabouts of the last knight.
Remember the route you raced Nimble on? It took you underneath a large structure that’s on the left side of the Tome World as you’re coming up from the starting gate. Head there underneath it and you’ll spot an opening on a ledge to your right. Use the platform to your left to double jump your way over to enter. Once inside, speak with Leapalot to open the Cagie for the Pagie.
Pagie #7
With this Tome World’s Mollycool in-hand, seek out Dr. Puzz near the large stone temple in the middle of the world. Hand over the Mollycool and she’ll transform you into a flower using her D.N.Ray machine.
Once you’re in your flower form head over towards the small group of structures immediately in front of you and talk with the bulb. He’ll task you with pollinating his sister, all of whom are nearby. Complete this task and you’ll be rewarded with a Pagie.
Pagie #8
From the D.N.Ray machine, turn right around and head over to Rextro’s Arcade Machine. Speak with him to exchange your Play Coin to play his arcade game and earn your Pagie.
Pagie #9
After completing Rextro’s arcade game for the first time, simply speak with him to play again. Beat the highscore and he’ll reward you with a second Pagie.
Pagie #10
On the far side of the large stone temple look for the burning torch near a small opening and head on through. Turn to your left and use a roll to climb the steep surface to find a switch. Step on the switch to activate a countdown timer.
Now make your way over to the now open Cagie while moving through the rings before the timer to earn the Pagie.

Pagie #11
Head back to where you met the Skeleton Explorer and make your way up the now-extended path to speak Shovel Knight. He’ll ask you to retrieve a giant jewel located high up on the nearby structure. Make your way on up while watching out for the tricky puzzle; time your shots just right to stop the platforms in the desired position. Collect the gem then return to Shovel Knight for the Pagie.
Pagie #12
From the starting area head up to your left until you see the Sonar Totem. Use Sonar Shot on it to reveal a platform and jump on. Continue to move up by using Sonar Shot on the other Totems you see, until you reach a Cagie. Use Sonar Shot once more to open it and collect the Pagie.
Pagie #13
Drop down and head over to the large stone structure to your left. Make your way to the top by avoiding the puzzles and head over the bridge. There you’ll have to face off against this world’s boss; The Great Rampo.
The trick to defeating Rampo is to slowly move past the obstacles he sends your way by slowly jumping over them. Once you reach the top knock out Rampo’s teeth him while avoiding the fire. You’ll have to do this three times over before he’s finally beaten and you can collect your well-earned Pagie.
Pagie #14
Make your way back down towards the central stone temple, but moving to your left before you reach it. You’ll see a large stone tower – the Giant Monument – looming overhead which you’re going to need to climb.
When you reach the first plateau, move to the right until you see an opening. Head on through to find Kratos on the other side. Complete his cart challenge and you’ll earn yourself a Pagie.
Pagie #15
Go back through the opening and move all the way around until you see another opening. On the other side you’ll find a small puzzle requiring you to use the water flowers to hydrate Mr Blowy.
You can find the water flower nearby, while using the moving platform to reach both it and Mr Blowy. Be quick though, as the water flower’s ability only lasts a short amount of time.
Once you hydrate Mr Blowy, he’ll unlock the Cagie for you to retrieve the Pagie.
Pagie #16
Head back up the Giant Monument to where you met Mr Blowy, but this time head to the left as you reach the stone ramp. Continue up the path and head through the opening.
You’ll spot a platform with some Quills, so make your way over and head down until you spot the Red Ghost Writer. Collect it and continue on, moving down in the process. Eventually you’ll spot the giant cloud, Nimbo.
Now, the goal here is to ultimately create solid ice in the empty riverbed that runs throughout the world.
First, grab the water flower and make Nimbo rain. That’ll flood the riverbed.
Next, grab the ice flower and shoot him to cause it to snow. That’ll freeze the riverbed.
Once that’s done head on down to Nimble and challenge him to a second race. You can easily reach ground level by Buddy Slamming the switch behind Nimbo and going through the opening. The second race is much more challenging than the first, so make sure you grab every Butterfly you can to recharge your Power Bar.

Head forward towards the structure with the floor tiles and move around to its left to find a new expanded area. Use the platforms to reach the ledge to your right, then use your Sonar ability to wake the totems to make your way to the Cagie. Use Sonar one more time to open it and receive your Pagie.

Pagie #18
Only accessible after purchasing Slurp State. Head up to where you meet Kratos and use Slurp State on the cannon balls to make yourself heavy. Now you can move past the Mr Blowys and reach the Caigie waiting for you. Speak with the Pagie housed inside and the Cagie will open, allowing you to collect it.
Pagie #19
Only accessible after purchasing Slurp State. Move past the Cagie opened when collecting Pagie #18 and use the platforms to reach another opening. Then follow the path until you reach a ledge, where you’ll spot a Pagie inside another Cagie, and Blastooie the Cannon. He’ll ask you to perform a Buddy Slam on him four times, after doing he’ll unlock the Cagie so you can collect the next Pagie
Pagie #20
Only accessible after purchasing the ability to walk underwater. Remember the pond where you could see a switch underwatch but couldn’t reach it? Head there – it’s near the opening that takes you up to Nimbo – and use your bubble to walk over to it. A hatch will open that leads down into a small room, where you need to activate a second switch to stop the Mr Blowys and retrieve the Pagie.
Pagie #21
Only accessible after unlocking the Invisibility ability. Make your way back to the Giant Monument and instead of going up the ramp to your left, follow the path to the right and into the opening. Navigate the subsequent labyrinth, using your Invisibility to slip past the many sentry robots scattered around inside. Once you reach the end you’ll find the Pagie waiting patiently for you.
Pagie #22
Only accessible after purchasing the flying ability. Head up to where you helped Mr Blowy and move the stone ramp out towards the far-away platform you couldn’t reach earlier. Fly over to it and go speak with the Pagie trapped inside the Cagie, who tells you about the challenge you need to finish first.
Complete the challenge by jumping and flying through the hoops, after which the Cagie will unlock and grant you yet another Pagie.
Pagie #23
Only accessible after purchasing the flying ability. Head to the central temple and fly to the very top. Speak with the cranky plank and he’ll task you with “cleaning up” some litter (i.e., a Pagie). Fly up and direct yourself into the Pagie to collect it.

Collect all 5 of this world’s Ghost Writers.
Mollycool: Head back to Trowzer to purchase Sonar Shot if you haven’t already. Now use your new move to activate the Sonar Totem and use the revealed platform to reach the second floor of the stone temple. Jump off the platform and move to the floating platforms immediately in front of you. Follow them until you reach the platform with the Mollycool.
Butterfly Booster: After expanding the world head to the large stone tower where you find XXX. Halfway up on the right-hand side you’ll find a fence and a few platforms. Make your way up using the platforms to venture around the fence to find the Butterfly Booster nestled in a small alcove.
Power Extender: Right up the top of the Stone Monument, where you meet Blastooie, you’ll spot a Sonar Totem. Activate it and follow the platforms up to the apex and you’ll find the Power Extender.
Play Coin: You’ll find this Tome World’s Play Coin in a small cave directly below where Rextro’s Arcade Machine is. Drop down into the empty waterway and look for the opening in the far wall. Head inside and you’ll see the Play Coin.
Ghost Writers: powerful beings who wrote the gran tomes
Yellow: From the starting gate move immediately to your right to spot a path. Drop down and follow it around to a small cave where the Ghostwriter waits.
Green: Move up the ramp directly in front of the starting gate and move to your left. Follow the ledge around until you reach a circle of trees. The Ghost Writer will try to run from you, but it won’t get very far. Chase it down to collect the Green Ghost Writer.
Purple: From the starting gate move up the slope in front of you and head forward up the path, then turn to your left. Use Slurp Shot (you can purchase this move from Trowzer, who’s located in the middle of the world on the first level of the stone temple) on the Ice Flower. Then turn around and jump up the series of raised platforms until you reach a small clearing with the Purple Ghost Writer. Shoot ice into its mouth until it turns green, after which you can collect it.
Blue: In the jungle area where you search for the missing Pagie Pieces and meet Sir Scoffsalot, look for the clearing with Gold Quills arranged in a circle. Listen closely and you’ll hear a cheeky giggle. Use Sonar Shot to reveal the Blue Ghost Writer and collect it.
Red: Head up the Giant Monument to the area where you meet Nimbo. Just before you reach the giant cloud there’s a large circular platform with a few enemies and the Red Ghost Writer, which will attack if you get too close. Avoid it until its colour turns orange, then strike with an attack of your own. Repeat this three times until it gives up, allowing you to collect it.
