“We waited and we have received. I see you are truly deserving of your Holy Grail flair.”
Those are the words of one of the many followers of this subreddit, in which Destiny diehards share their tips, tactics and secrets for the game.
This subset of Destiny players has been engulfed by the idea of reaching places within the game that they’re not supposed to, and in one case, they spent two years mapping and planning entrance to Atheon’s throne room in the Vault Of Glass.
Two. Whole. Years.
Group leader Djxyz0 finally managed to make his way in, chronicling his journey in the video below.
“The Vault of Glass has always held many mysteries,” he says. “A place so vast, so open, it was no surprise it could open a community dedicated to exploring it.”
Djxyz0 explains that the reason the subreddit was created was mainly because players wanted to see “what was beyond Destiny’s walls”.
“I was the first player to see everything behind it, and this is my journey.”
He then guides us through the very long, torturous task of navigating the Vault of Glass while on patrol, something that requires expert knowledge of the game map and all of its exploits.
It really does need to be seen to be believed. Check it out below.
