The Overwatch community is in Doomfist rumour overdrive.
Fans of the popular shooter have for months been convinced that Doomfist will indeed be a hero to join the character roster, and we’ve dissected the character within the lore to determine that, yep, it seems pretty likely that it’ll eventually come to the game.
Hollywood actor Terry Crews seems to be playing the game — and by “game” I mean, teasing fans, not literally playing the game — because he’s taking to Twitter and Facebook and pretending like he has no idea what’s going on.
As such, he’s getting behind the idea of voicing Doomfist, acting all suss and mysterious like as if he doesn’t know that he’s voicing Doomfist.
Come on, Terry, stop pulling our chain!

The hypetrain began when Crews was spotted at Blizzard HQ with cinematic project director Terran Gregory, as well as character artist Renaud Galand.
What other reason would he have to be there meeting these people in particular unless he was in the game?
He event took to Twitter to proclaim that he would “LOVE TO PLAY DOOMFIST”. Yeah, I bet you would, Terry.
Now it’s gone into official overdrive: Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson has even jumped into the debate, saying, “this man’s voice even has bad assery muscles. Fans would love it.” He definitely knows something we don’t.
What would Terry Crews sound like voicing Doomfist? This video give us an idea.
