Activision has big plans in store for Call Of Duty this holiday season.
Both Infinite Warfare and Modern Warfare Remastered are set for big DLC packs, with the latter getting the remaining maps from Call Of Duty 4, as well as some delightful Christmas-themed treats.
In Infinite Warfare, a new three-round burst pistol called the Hailstorm Thunder prototype will be rewarded for any player that’s competed across both Black Ops 3 and Infinite Warfare.
The Genesis map will also get a touch-up, with a Christmas theme and a 24/7 playlist planned for the Holiday break.
In Modern Warfare Remastered, the final six maps are finally coming to the game, and entirely free.
Bloc, Countdown, Pipeline, Showdown, Wet Work, and fan favourite Strike will all be added to the maps list.
Coming to #MWRemastered FREE on Dec. 13:

A 24/7 Winter Crash playlist will launch on December 20.
Activision is also running a “12 Days Of Winter” event from December 21 until January 1. The publisher promises winter-themed personalisation items, as well as “winter-themed Common, Rare and Legendary prototypes for Infinite Warfare, as well as additional bonuses for Modern Warfare Remastered.
Most interesting about the DLC is the addition of Hardpoint to Modern Warfare Remastered. It will be joined by Gun Game as the new modes in town.
The game has been made popular in a post-Advanced Warfare world, so it’ll be interesting to see how it adapts to a slower, more strategic Call Of Duty experience in Modern Warfare Remastered.
