Just ahead of the release of Battlefield 1 on October 21, DICE and EA have made all of the DLC for 2013’s Battlefield 4 completely free.
Microsoft’s Major Nelson made the announcement on his official blog, and it’s been confirmed that the offer extends to all PlayStation platforms as well as PC (via Origin).
The free DLC includes:
- China Rising
- Dragon’s Teeth
- Final Stand
- Naval Strike
- Second Assault
The expansions are yours to keep forever once you download them. While you don’t need an Xbox Live Gold or PlayStation Plus subscription to download them, you will need one to play them online.
The offer is live for one week from September 13, so you still have five days to redeem them (ends on September 20).
Each expansion is worth $15, so you’re getting $75 worth of gameplay for free.
What a great way to lead into the release of Battlefield 1!

Should see a nice bump in player numbers in BF4 as well.
