Dark Souls 3 fans can look forward to the first DLC chapter this Spring, but they’ll have to wait a little longer before the second chapter is released.
Dark Souls 3 director Hidetaka Miyazaki says the second of “two large sections” will be released in 2017, months after the first chapter is made available for download.
“[The] first chapter [is due to release] in the fall of 2016” he said, via GNN, and “the second chapter in early 2017”.
Bandai Namco confirmed the release window for the first chapter as “autumn” (Spring in Australia), but has never committed to a release window for the second.
Thankfully, both chapters are included in the game’s season pass, which is A$38.

Hmmm, might wait for a GOTY in 2017 instead.
