Xbox Live Gold subscribers will land themselves two free Xbox One titles and two Xbox 360 titles in the Games With Gold May 2016 promotion. The two 360 games are both backward compatible on Xbox One.
First up is Defense Grid 2, a tower defense game from Hidden Path Entertainment and 505 Games.
Double Fine Productions’ and Majesco’s Costume Quest 2 rounds on the Xbox One games for May.
On the 360 games front, Codemasters’ acclaimed GRID 2 and EA’s underrated Peggle come to gamers for free.

- Costume Quest 2 – Available May 16-June 15 on Xbox One
- GRID 2 – Available May 1-15 on Xbox 360

To access the games you’ll need to be an Xbox Live Gold subscriber, otherwise you’ll need to pay the base price on the Xbox Store. Both Xbox 360 games — GRID 2 and Peggle — are playable on Xbox One thanks to backward compatibility.
