Call of Duty: WWII is set to hit PlayStation 4, PC and Xbox One on November 3, but you’ll be able to play it before launch via the game’s Private Beta.
The game’s release date, setting, and (some) multiplayer details were revealed during the game’s unveiling from London, confirming weeks of leaks regarding the game’s setting and title.
Three-and-a-half years in the making and with countless hours of research, Call of Duty: WWII is a culmination of Sledgehammer’s tireless research and approach to honouring and representing the horrors of the world’s greatest battle.
Activision calls it a “gritty, personal experience”, setting on the largest worldwide conflict in history.
This next generation of Call of Duty will have you playing through the story of ordinary men turned soldiers in the 1st Infantry Division as they fight to preserve freedom in the face of tyranny.
Call of Duty: WW2 tells the story of an unbreakable brotherhood of common men fighting to preserve freedom in a world on the brink of tyranny.
Players enlist in a gritty intense journey through the battlegrounds of war.
There are multiple pre-order options available for Call of Duty: WWII. Here are the base pre-order bundles now available for pre-order:
- Base Edition and Digital Base Edition – Game SRP $59.99.
- Digital Deluxe Edition – Game, Season Pass and more, SRP $99.99
- Pro Edition – Season Pass, collectible steelbook and hat, SRP $99.99
All Call of Duty: WWII pre-orders will be honoured with access to the beta, which is coming to both PS4 and Xbox One.
Due to Activision’s exclusivity partnership with PlayStation, it’s expected the beta will launch on PS4 first, just as was the case with Infinite Warfare, which launched a day ahead of the Xbox One beta.
