In LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens, Red Bricks unlock a variety of powerful gameplay extras. These include score multipliers, collectible detectors, disguise modes, and more, making your journey across the galaxy much easier and way more fun.

There are 18 red bricks scattered throughout the game. Some require clever puzzle-solving or the right character abilities to access. Once collected, these red bricks can be purchased from the Extras menu using studs.
Collecting all 18 will unlock the “Red Leader” achievement or trophy:
- 30 Gamerscore on Xbox
- Silver Trophy on PlayStation
Whether you’re playing on console or handheld, finding every LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens red brick is essential for 100% completion.
How to Use Red Bricks in LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens
To activate red brick cheats and extras:
Collect the red brick in a level or hub area
Go to the Extras menu from the pause screen
Purchase the red brick using studs
Toggle it on/off from the same menu
Some extras, like stud multipliers, can be stacked (e.g. x2, x4, x6, x8, x10), multiplying your earnings exponentially.
Red Brick Cheat Codes (Optional Unlocks)
If you want to skip the hunt and enable specific red brick extras right away, you can use cheat codes via the “Enter Code” option in the pause menu. These LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens red brick cheat codes vary depending on the platform, and only a few have active codes available.
Why Red Bricks Matter

- Stud multipliers speed up unlock progression
- Collectible detectors make Free Play less time-consuming
- Disguises and sillier extras add charm and replay value
Whether you’re chasing trophies or just want to breeze through levels, Star Wars LEGO red bricks are a must-collect.
